Nativity Parade

Click on the link above to be a part of the Nativity Parade. It is so fun to go and look at other nativity sets.
We have two at my house.  My kids LOVE to play with the nativity when it is out (the reason the donkey has no ears in the first picture).

This one was a gift from my Father and Mother-in-law.  I love it!

The second one here is also out  in our living room and is for the kids to play with.  It is a Fisher Price nativity that pays music when you press on the angel.  We also received this as a gift and I LOVE it!
So do the kids :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I love the nativity as it reminds me of the true meaning of Christmas!
Such a fun link party!

Shutter Love Tuesdays

Here is my little cinderella all dressed up for our first Halloween party of the year.  We had a ward trunk or treat and it was so much fun!  She couldn't have been happier getting to be a princess and getting a bag full of candy!

Shutter Love Tuesdays comes from The Trendy Treehouse Blog

CInderella Dress

I found this SUPER CUTE tutorial HERE from Make it and Love it!

Here is what I made. It only took me a few hours and it was an easy tutorial to follow if you have BASIC sewing skills and knowledge.

The pictures make the sleeves look lavender, but they are white.

Halloween Wreath

I made this wreath from this FUN tutorial from TATOR TOTS AND JELLO.
Mine is more simple and cost less, I am sure. I used my Joann's coupon comotion coupons for the ribbon and got the styrofoam wreath at a yard sale for a quarter.

I want to hang it on my front door, but I need to hammer a nail in there first.  Fun project. Only took me about an hour and a half start to finish.

Fall Decorations PART 1

Here is my first attempt to decorate on a budget.  I made a table runner out of material I already had and made matching pumpkins from a tutorial I found HERE.  I found the Fall garland at a yardsale for $1 a piece.  I am very happy with it and hope to decorate more!  There are so many ideas out there!!

Rice Crispy Pops

Hey!  I am sure there are other things like this out there... I made these up tonight. My kids and I had fun putting these together :)

To make:

Make 1 Recipe Rice Crispy Treats pressed in a baking sheet
White Chocolate Chips, melted
Popsicle Sticks
Candy Sprinkles
Ribbon

1. Cut out squares or circles out of the Rice Crispy Treats. Take 2 and put the White Chocolate (it acts as glue) in the center of both.
2. Place the popsicle stick in between and close.
3. Take a bit of white chocolate and run along the seams.
4 .Dip that in Candy sprinkles.
5. Wrap up with Wrenolds wrap and tie with a bow.
6. Put in Freezer or Refridgerator until ready to serve :)
Have Fun!

For Halloween, use Halloween Cookie Cutters and  orange and black sprinkles.
